Marion Wagner was born in 1979 in Berlin, Germany. After completing her degree in classic art design for print and publishing at LetteVerein Berlin, she worked as a designer for the architecture critical magazine Bauwelt for two years.
Along with her passion for design, Marion has had a strong interest in technology and its affects on design. She decided to continue her studies at The University of Arts, Berlin, where she was able to explore these concepts more deeply. She joined the Digital Media Class at the UDK and studied abroad at Hunter College, CUNY in New York City. While completing her studies to obtain her MFA, Marion’s work was exhibited at the Ars Electronica Linz and Design Mai Berlin.
Afterwards, she was hired as a key account manager and designer at Interactive Scape GmbH. She remained with the company for four years where she gained experience in project management and marketing for large multi touch/user projects and software development for clients like European Commission, Fraunhofer, Dior, Nespresso, Mutabor, Triad, Deutscher Bundestag, VDMA and T-Mobile.
In 2013, Marion decided to create her own company, The Human Machine Interface, in hoping to “let good ideas off the leash.”
